The Lavours marsh

Located 13 km from the campsite, it is a national nature reserve of 500 hectares located at the foot of the Grand Colombier, in the commune of Aignoz. A path on stilts with explanatory panels and observation posts allow you to discover the heart of the marsh.

371 species of plants have been recorded, more than 400 species of fungi, algae, lichens, mosses and ferns have been inventoried. The reserve is also home to many birds, including the curlew, marsh harrier and blue throats. Amphibians are very present on the site.

Each year, a temporary exhibition is held in the marsh house. Numerous activities during the summer are organized by nature animators.

An educational farm is located at the entrance of the marsh and you will be welcomed by the farm animals.
